PAU RELEASES KISAN MELA SCHEDULE FOR SEPTEMBER

Ludhiana, July 19, 2023: The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) has released the itinerary for the series of Kisan Melas to be held in September 2023. The preparations are in full swing at PAU for the smooth and successful conduct of Kisan Melas, to be held under the patronage of Dr Satbir Singh Gosal, Vice-Chancellor, PAU.

Dr GS Buttar, Director of Extension Education, disclosed that the series will kick off with the first Kisan Mela at Nag Kalan Jahangir, Amritsar on September 5 followed by the Kisan Melas at Ballowal Saunkhri on September 8 and Gurdaspur on September 12. The two-day Kisan Mela at PAU, Ludhiana will be organised on September 14 and 15, he added. Kisan Melas at Faridkot, Rauni (Patiala) and Bathinda will be held on September 19, 22 and 27, respectively, he told.
