Patkas with 554 logo the biggest attraction for devotees on Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak

During 554th Prakash Purab the Patka Sewa on the pious land of Sultanpur Lodhi under the patronage of Kapurthala Police for the Sangat in the Holy shrine, the sewa of Patkas has been the main attraction witnessed by the devotees wearing the yellow colour sacred Patkas, having the hymns of Guru Nanak which were personally tied on their foreheads by the Kapurthala Police personnel with aim to promote the concept of covering head. Devotees from all sections of society appreciated the thought.

Ludhiana: During 554th Prakash Purab the Patka Sewa on the pious land of Sultanpur Lodhi under the patronage of Kapurthala Police for the Sangat in the Holy shrine, the sewa of Patkas has been the main attraction witnessed by the devotees wearing the yellow colour sacred Patkas, having the hymns of Guru Nanak which were personally tied on their foreheads by the Kapurthala Police personnel with aim to promote the concept of covering head. Devotees from all sections of society appreciated the thought.

Former Additional Advocate General Punjab and Eminent Author Harpreet Sandhu initiated this pious sewa with tying the first patka on the forehead of Senior Superintend of Police, Kapurthala. Sewa of Patkas has been initiated by Sewa Sankalp Society through its Vice President Harpreet Sandhu to mark 554th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji. 

ADGP Law & Order Punjab Gurinder Singh Dhillon, congratulated everyone on the 554th Birth Anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev Ji and acknowledged the pious patka sewa initiated by Harpreet Sandhu through Sewa Sankalp Society and described it to be  very meaningful contribution within the devotees  dedicated to 554th Prakash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev. 

Harpreet Sandhu with the support of Police personnel distributed the Patkas within the devotees gathered in large number at the Holy shrines and in Nagar Kirtan within Sultanpur Lodhi. Even the Patkas were placed at the entrance of Gurdwara Ber Sahib for the Sangat.

Dr. S. Boopathi, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Jalandhar Range SSP Kapurthala Vatasala, SP Kapurthala, Senior Police officials and devotees  were present during the pious Patka sewa in Sultanpur Lodhi
