Chandigarh, October 19, 2026: On the auspicious occasion of Ashtami, Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee President Pargat Singh paid obeisance at the Shri Mata Chintpurni Shrine in Himachal Pradesh and sought the blessings of Mata Rani. On the occasion, he prayed for the prosperity, happiness and good health of the people of Punjab and the entire country. He also extended his heartfelt greetings to all countrymen on Navratri and Ashtami.
Punjab Congress Co-in-charge Suraj Singh Thakur, Member of Parliament Gurjeet Singh Aujla, former ministers Bharat Bhushan Ashu, Brahm Mohindra, Sangat Singh Giljian (former minister and Working President), and Sham Sunder Arora, former MLA Indu Bala, former MLAs Pawan Adia and Mikki Dogra, along with several other Congress leaders, were also present on the occasion.
