Paras Healthcare plans to reach lakhs of cancer patients in smaller towns and nearby rural pockets 

New Delhi: “Paras Healthcare plans to reach lakhs of cancer patients in smaller towns and nearby rural pockets and the hinterland, hitherto un-served or underserved segments”, said Dr Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Healthcare at Paras Cancer Conclave 2021. Paras Cancer Conclave 2021 was organized from 19 -21 March 2021 the theme of which was - ‘Redefining the Cancer Care for the Next Decade’ by Paras Cancer Centres – Patna, Panchkula & Gurgaon.

Over 7000 delegates, including oncologists and primary care physicians of all disciplines, from various reputed national and international institutions in USA, Europe, Nepal, Bangladesh, UAE, Russia, Kenya, Nigeria participated in the virtual event. There were 40 hours of sessions spread over three days where expert Oncologists and Cancer Care specialists delivered lectures on a series of topics. In addition to the recent advances, there was launch of a newly approved combination therapy (Ramicirumab and Erlotinib) in EGFR mutated lung cancer, and discussion on recently launched treatments in stage 4 breast cancers.

The International virtual meet was headed by Dr (Col) R Ranga Rao, Chairman, Paras Cancer Centre, Paras Hospitals and Dr Dharminder Nagar, MD, Paras Healthcare.
