Calls for Maximum Student Participation in MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026
Chandigarh, February 9, 2026: Panjab University (PU) Vice Chancellor Prof. Renu Vig today launched the poster of MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 at the University campus.
The launch was attended by Dr. Parveen Goyal, NSS Programme Coordinator, Panjab University, and Vinay Kumar, District Youth Officer, MY Bharat Chandigarh, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, Government of India.
PU Vice Chancellor Prof Vig called upon all departments and affiliated colleges to ensure wide publicity of the quiz and encourage students to participate in large numbers so that the University records strong representation in the national initiative.
MY Bharat Budget Quest 2026 seeks to familiarise students with the recently presented Union Budget. The quiz encourages participants to examine key provisions and understand their wider implications. Selected participants will get an opportunity to present their views on the Union Budget before the Prime Minister of India, enabling youth engagement in policy dialogue at the national level.
The initiative aims to enhance financial literacy, strengthen policy awareness and promote informed civic participation among young people in line with the vision of Viksit Bharat.
