Chandigarh, May 29, 2026: Panjab University Vice Chancellor Professor Renu Vig today released the Centennial Issue of Indian Journal of Psychology at PU Campus.
Eminent scholars like PU Dean of University Instruction Professor Meenakshi Goyal, Professor Rachpal, Professor Meena Sehgal and Chairperson Department of Psychology Dr Bani were present on the occasion. The issue has special article on human suffering from Iran and invited papers of Safety, Dalai Lama, Artificial Intelligence and human excellence. Next issue is likely to be published in October 2026.
The journal, founded in department of Psychology of University of Kolkata in 1924, has been an organ of Indian Psychological Association. Late Professor N.N.Sengupta was the founder of the journal. In 2012, the journal was handed over by President of Indian Psychology Association Professor Tarinee to Professor Emeritus Jitendra Mohan of department of Psychology, Panjab University Chandigarh. It has been in the UGC care list and is peer reviewed. Distinguished experts from India and Foreign country are on its board.
