Chandigarh, September 10, 2025: Panjab University will organise the 2nd International Science and Technology Week (ISTW) from September 15 to 19, 2025 at the SSBUICET Auditorium, Chandigarh, on “Transforming Life through Science and Technology.”
The scientific event will bring together over 20 distinguished experts from leading universities and research institutions across the world to deliver lectures, share insights, and engage in discussions on frontier areas of science, technology, and innovation. The week-long program will feature keynote addresses, workshops, and interactive sessions aimed at promoting research excellence, innovation, and global collaboration.
As part of the preparations, Panjab University Vice Chancellor Prof Renu Vig launched the official ISTW 2025 website (https://istw2025.puchd.ac.in/), which will serve as the central information hub for program details, schedules, speakers, and opportunities for academic and industry participation.
Prof. Meenakshi Goyal, Director R&D, Prof. Anupama Sharma, Coordinator, ISTW, sectional coordinators, and invited guests were also present on the occasion.
Speaking at the launch, Prof. Renu Vig said, “The International Science and Technology Week is not just an academic gathering, but a celebration of ideas, innovation, and collaboration. The launch of the website is a significant step in connecting with a global community of scholars, researchers, and industry leaders, and will greatly enhance Panjab University’s visibility on the world stage.
