Panjab University shall remain closed till March 31, 2020

Chandigarh: Panjab University Registrar Prof Karamjeet Singh) today (March 21, 2020) issued an office order stating “This is in continuation to Office Order, bearing No.224/R/PA dated 19.03.2020, regarding measures to be followed, in the wake of spread of Corona Virus (COVID-19), it has further been decided that:

The Panjab University shall remain closed till 31.03.2020. Staff (Teaching and Non-teaching) should work from home to the extent possible and should remain available on phone and any other means of communications. They should attend the office, if called for any exigency of work. Emergency/essential services shall remain operational. Ongoing examinations and evaluation work shall be re-scheduled after 31.03.2020. All Chairpersons/Directors/Coordinators/Wardens (including the Regional/Rural Centres & Constituent Colleges) and Heads of all Non-

Teaching Departments/Branches/Offices, Principals of Affiliated Colleges of the University shall also follow the above necessary compliance.”
