Panjab University Promotes 11 Security Guards to Shift Incharge Rank

Panjab University today promoted 10 security guards to the rank of Shift Incharge (Single Star), as part of its continued efforts to enhance campus safety and recognise the dedication of its personnel. These promoted officials will now be responsible for duties at University gates, patrolling, and other important locations. Three of the 10 promoted guards are women.

Chandigarh, July 16, 2025: Panjab University today promoted 10 security guards to the rank of Shift Incharge (Single Star), as part of its continued efforts to enhance campus safety and recognise the dedication of its personnel. These promoted officials will now be responsible for duties at University gates, patrolling, and other important locations. Three of the 10 promoted guards are women.

The promotees include  Parveen Kumar, Spatter Singh, Tek Singh, Salim Khan, Amarjit Singh, Krishan Kumar, Gurdial Singh, Kiran Bala, Neelam Kumari and Babita.
