Chandigarh, March 30, 2026: Only six days are left to submit online applications for the Management Entrance Test (MET)-2026 to apply for admission to MBA programmes at the University Institute of Applied Management Sciences (UIAMS), Panjab University. The last date for submission is April 5, 2026. The entrance test will be conducted on April 12, 2026 (Sunday) for admission to MBA programmes for the 2026–28 academic session.
PU's premier institution, UIAMS, offers various sector-specific MBA programmes. There are 61 seats each in MBA (Retail Management) and MBA (Banking and Insurance Management); 31 seats each in MBA (IT and Telecommunications Management), MBA (Infrastructural Management), MBA (Pharmaceutical Management), MBA (Hospital Management) and MBA (Capital Markets); and 36 seats in MBA (Business Analytics). Detailed information on eligibility, syllabus and admission process is available on the official website. The intake includes additional seats for NRI and Foreign National candidates.
Candidates are required to register online by April 5, 2026. The last date for fee payment is April 6, while completion of the application form must be done by April 7. Hard copy submission, along with documents, should reach the Assistant Registrar, UIAMS, Panjab University, Chandigarh by April 10 (4 pm). Admit cards will be available after April 9.
The institute also provides functional specialisations in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and Operations Management.
The MET-2026 will be held on April 12. Candidates must carry valid photo identification such as Aadhaar card, driving licence or passport to the examination centre.
