Chandigarh, June 26, 2026: On the occasion of the International Day Against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, the faculty, staff, and research scholars of the Department of Economics, Panjab University, Chandigarh, solemnly took the pledge under the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, reaffirming their commitment to building a drug-free and healthy society.
The Department of Economics collectively resolved to contribute to the vision of a Nasha Mukt Bharat, pledging to work towards a drug-free India by spreading awareness, promoting healthy lifestyles, and inspiring others to join the movement against substance abuse.
