Panjab University Invites Applications for Academic Programmes at Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology for Session 2026-27
The Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate professional programmes for the academic session 2026-27.

Chandigarh, June 15, 2026: The Centre for Nanoscience and Nanotechnology, Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh, has invited applications for admission to its undergraduate, postgraduate and postgraduate professional programmes for the academic session 2026-27.
Admissions are open for the four-year B.Sc. (Honours) in Sustainable and Renewable Energy. Admission to the programme will be based purely on merit, and no entrance examination is required. The portal is ugadmissions.puchd.ac.in.
The Centre is also offering the two-year M.Sc. in Renewable Energy and Smart Materials. Admission to the programme will be through an entrance examination scheduled to be held on June 19, 20 and 21, 2026. The portal for pg admission is onlineadmissions.puchd.ac.in.
Applications are also invited for the two-year M.Tech. in Nanoscience and Nanotechnology. Admissions will be made on the basis of valid GATE scores. In case seats remain vacant, candidates without GATE qualification will be considered on the basis of academic merit in the qualifying examination.
These programmes are designed to provide students with advanced knowledge and practical skills in the fields of renewable energy technologies, nanomaterials, smart materials, sustainability, energy storage systems, environmental technologies and cutting-edge research. The Centre offers interdisciplinary learning opportunities supported by modern research facilities and industry-oriented exposure.
