Chandigarh, April 20, 2026: The Department of Library and Information Science, Panjab University (PU), organized an electoral awareness programme under its Electoral Literacy Club with a short film screening.
The programme was conducted in the presence of Chairperson Dr. Khushpreet Singh Brar and faculty members. Students of Bachelor of Library and Information Science, Master of Library and Information Science, and research scholars participated in the event.
A short film titled 'Main Bharat Hoon', available on the official YouTube channel of the Election Commission of India, was screened. The film included themes of national identity, diversity, and the role of citizens in shaping democratic processes.
The initiative focused on enhancing electoral literacy among students and underscored the importance of informed and responsible participation in elections.
