Chandigarh, January 20, 2026: ENACTUS Panjab University (PU) conducted the 92nd workshop,  transfusing Next-Gen Perspective series as part of its menstrual health awareness initiative 'Mytharche' at Dhalli Gram Panchayat, Mashobra, Shimla. The workshop focused on menstrual health awareness and women’s well-being.
Prof. Seema Kapoor, Faculty Advisor, ENACTUS Panjab University, and President, Corporate Sustainability Council, Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CSC WICCI), Chandigarh, emphasised the urgent need to address societal taboos surrounding menstruation through sustained awareness and sensitisation.
The session was led by Dr. Rajni Lamba, Chief Executive Officer, The Rural Environmental Enterprises Development Society, who served as the resource person. She addressed key aspects of menstrual hygiene, women’s health, and commonly held misconceptions.
Her interactive approach encouraged participants to engage openly, share concerns, and seek clarity.
Samaira Talwar, Events Head, ENACTUS PU, stated that awareness-driven conversations play a crucial role in empowering individuals to make informed and healthy choices.
In addition to the awareness session, the ENACTUS Panjab University team carried out project outreach and product promotion activities in local markets across Shimla and nearby areas.
Sharing the vision behind the 'Mytharche' series, Harshnoor Kaur, President, ENACTUS Panjab University, stated that the initiative reflects the organisation’s continued commitment to creating meaningful social impact.
As part of the initiative, reusable cloth-based sanitary napkins sponsored by Versatile Group, Ludhiana, were distributed among participants.
