Panjab University Conducts Second Phase of PU-CET (PG) Entrance Test – 2025
As many as 3,147 candidates appeared in the second phase of Panjab University, Chandigarh PU-CET (PG) Entrance Test – 2025 for admission to various postgraduate courses in the University, various colleges and regional centers.

Chandigarh, June 18, 2025: As many as 3,147 candidates appeared in the second phase of Panjab University, Chandigarh PU-CET (PG) Entrance Test – 2025 for admission to various postgraduate courses in the University, various colleges and regional centers.
PU Controller of Examination Prof Jagat Bhushan informed that 87.34% students appeared in eight centres —five in Chandigarh and one each at Hoshiarpur, Ludhiana, and Sri Muktsar Sahib. To ensure the smooth and fair conduct of the examination, Flying squad and observers were sent to every centre for routine checking and smooth conduct of the test. Jammers were also used to keep check on the mobile and any other WiFi device use during exam for cheating. The test was conducted satisfactorily and no untoward incident was reported from any of the examination centers.
Entrance test for M.C.A. recorded 91.65% attendance (1043 out of 1138), while Masters in Disaster Management had 81.94% (59 out of 72), M.Com. (Business Innovation) saw 76.00% (38 out of 50), and M.Sc. (2-Year) in Stem Cell & Tissue Engineering had 80.70% (92 out of 114) attendance. MBA for Executives (MBAfEX) recorded 64.29% attendance (72 out of 112), while Master in Geo-informatics saw the highest attendance at 92.45% (98 out of 106). M.Sc. Statistics had 81.82% (81 out of 99), M.A. History reported 84.44% (293 out of 347), M.Sc. (HS) Biochemistry had 88.89% (48 out of 54), and M.Sc. (2-Year) Human Genomics recorded 70.18% (40 out of 57). M.Sc. (HS/2-Year) Biotechnology saw 88.44% attendance (306 out of 346), M.Sc. (HS) Physics/Medical Physics/Specialisation in Electronics recorded 87.80% (288 out of 328), M.Sc. (HS/2-Year) Botany had 89.68% (313 out of 349), and M.A. Economics witnessed 87.24% (376 out of 431) attendance.
