Panjab University conduct Ph.D. Entrance Test 2025 on Sunday

Chandigarh, September 21, 2025: Panjab University, Chandigarh conducted Ph.D. Entrance Test 2025 on Sunday. There were two papers, Paper I (Objective Type) and Paper II (Subjective Type). The timings of Paper – I Objective Type was from 10.00 am to 11.00 am and Paper II Subjective Type was from 11.30 am to 1.30 pm (for all faculties except UIAMS Deptt.) and 2.30 pm to 4.30 pm (for UIAMS Deptt. only). Total 04 centres were created, two at Panjab University Campus, Chandigarh and two at DevSamaj College for Women, Sector 45-B, Chandigarh.
Total 67.67% (542 out of 801) candidates appeared in Paper – I Objective type, and 66.51% (564 out of 848) appeared in Paper II Subjective type. Flying squad and observers were sent to the centres for routine checking and smooth conduct of the test. Jammers were also used to keep check on the mobile and any other WiFi device use during exam for cheating. The test was conducted satisfactorily and no untoward incident was reported from any of the examination centres. Question booklet and answer key will be uploaded on the examination website on September 23, 2025.
