Panjab University, Chandigarh: A high-powered delegation from the Czech Republic visited Panjab University today

Chandigarh, November 4, 2022: Panjab University, Chandigarh: A high-powered delegation from the Czech Republic visited Panjab University today in order to connect the university with the Czech higher education institutions. 

The meeting was held today in the Office of the Vice-Chancellor with the aim  to establish a Chair for Czech Language in Panjab University and   exchange of Students and Faculty between different Universities of Czech Republic and  Panjab University. Her Excellency, Dr. Eliska Zigova, Ambassador, The Czech Republic, Nicole Machova, Head Consular Section, Embassy of the Czech Republic, His Excellency, Major Guneet Chaudhary, Honorary Counsel of Czech Republic in Chandigarh, Prof. Renu Vig, DUI, Prof. Kashmir Singh, Secretary to Vice-Chancellor, Panjab University, Chandgiarh,  Prof. Gaurav Verma, Dr. SSBUICET, Panjab University, Chandigarh and Prof. Deepti Gupta, Dean International Students, Panjab University, Chandigarh, attended the meeting.  Prof. Renu Vig presided over the meeting. Major Guneet Chaudhary is an alumnus of Panjab University, Chandigarh and has recently been appointed the Honorary Consul General of the Czech Republic at Chandigarh.
