Chandigarh May 2, 2025: The Department of Statistics, Panjab University, Chandigarh celebrated Labour Day to commemorate the contributions of the workers towards the department.
The faculty members, Research Scholars and Non-Teaching staff joined the celebration and expressed their gratitude towards the dedicating and sincere services provided by the workers.
Professor Narinder Kumar, Chairperson, Department of Statistics apprised the contribution of workers for their sincere work and honoured them with planters as token of appreciation. He addressed the workers that their dedication, hard work and tireless contribution play an important role for our society and nation and observing of this celebration is mark of their respect and dignity in the society.
