Panjab University Announces Schedule for PU-B.Ed. (U.T.) Chandigarh Entrance Test 2026

Chandigarh, June 10, 2026: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the schedule for the PU-B.Ed. (U.T.) Chandigarh Entrance Test 2026 for admission to the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) programme for the academic session 2026-27. The entrance test will be conducted on July 12, 2026 (Sunday) in Chandigarh only.
According to a press release issued by Panjab University on Wednesday, the Prospectus, including the online application form and detailed admission schedule, is available from on the official website chandigarhbed.puchd.ac.in. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the portal.
The last date for submission of information on the website to generate Login ID and Password is June 30, 2026, while the last date for deposit of fee through online mode is July 1, 2026. Candidates must upload their photograph, signature and complete the remaining application details by July 2, 2026.
Candidates seeking concession in the Entrance Test fee under the SC/ST/PwD categories are required to submit the printout of the application form along with the requisite documents to the Assistant Registrar, CET Cell, Aruna Ranjit Chandra Hall, PU either by registered post, speed post or by hand, by July 6, 2026 (up to 4:00 p.m.).
Admit cards will be available online for download from July 7, 2026. Candidates will be able to access their admit cards using their Login ID and Password and will be informed through email.
The tentative merit list will be displayed on the admission website on the evening of August 6, 2026. The first counselling for admissions is scheduled to be held on August 12 and 13, 2026.
The PU-B.Ed. (U.T.) Chandigarh programme is offered at four participating institutions in Chandigarh. The available seats include 100 seats in the B.Ed. programme at Government College of Education, Sector 20-D, Chandigarh, 100 seats in the B.Ed. programme at Dev Samaj College of Education, Sector 36-B, Chandigarh, 30 seats in B.Ed. Special Education (Intellectual Disability) at the Government Rehabilitation Institute for Intellectual Disabilities (GRIID), Sector 31-C, Chandigarh, and 20 seats at Government College of Yoga Education and Health, Sector 23-A, Chandigarh.
Admissions to these institutions will be made on the basis of merit in the PU-B.Ed. (U.T.) Chandigarh Entrance Test 2026 and subsequent counselling.
