Panjab University announces counselling schedule for MCA and M.Sc. Computer Science (Specialisation in Data Science) admissions
Panjab University has notified the admission schedule for M.Sc. Computer Science (Specialisation in Data Science) under the framework of the Honours School System in the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Chandigarh, and for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) offered by the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Chandigarh, as well as Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar, and Panjab University Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur, for the academic session 2026–2027.

Chandigarh, August 6, 2026: Panjab University has notified the admission schedule for M.Sc. Computer Science (Specialisation in Data Science) under the framework of the Honours School System in the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Chandigarh, and for the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) offered by the Department of Computer Science and Applications, Chandigarh, as well as Panjab University Regional Centre, Muktsar, and Panjab University Regional Centre, Hoshiarpur, for the academic session 2026–2027.
According to the PU release, the admissions will be made on the basis of the merit of CET (PG) 2026 and the academic record of the candidates.
Counselling for admission to MCA (General and all categories) will be held on 13 and 14 August 2026 from 9.00 a.m. onwards.
Counselling for admission to M.Sc. Computer Science (Specialisation in Data Science) under the framework of the Honours School System will be conducted on 17 August 2026 from 9.00 a.m. onwards.
Candidates are advised to report for counselling with all original certificates and other relevant documents required for verification.
