Panjab University Announces Counselling Schedule for B.Ed. Admissions 2026
Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the initial counselling schedule for B.Ed. Admissions 2026 for Colleges of Education situated in Chandigarh. The physical counselling will be held on August 12 and 13, 2026, at the Law Auditorium, Sector 14, PU Chandigarh.

Chandigarh, August 10, 2026: Panjab University (PU), Chandigarh has announced the initial counselling schedule for B.Ed. Admissions 2026 for Colleges of Education situated in Chandigarh. The physical counselling will be held on August 12 and 13, 2026, at the Law Auditorium, Sector 14, PU Chandigarh.
The counselling schedule has been arranged in time slots based on test scores and categories, including the U.T. Pool (60%) and General Pool (40%).
All eligible candidates are required to bring all original documents at the time of counselling. Candidates listed as ineligible due to pending results can also attend the counselling by bringing their graduation scorecard or result notification.
Candidates applying under the U.T. Pool (60%) are required to submit the U.T. Pool Certificate in original at the time of counselling. Candidates seeking admission under reserved categories are required to submit category certificates issued by the competent authority. Candidates seeking admission under the EWS category must submit an EWS certificate issued after March 31, 2026 or for Financial Year 2025-26 for admission to the 2026-27 session.
Candidates seeking admission under the sports category are required to submit the Sports Gradation Certificate issued by the competent authority. For claiming the U.T. Pool OBC (NCL) category, the certificate issued after March 31, 2026 for admission to the 2026-27 session must be a U.T. Chandigarh certificate issued by the Tehsildar/Magistrate 1st Class/Deputy Commissioner of U.T. Chandigarh and bearing the seal of the issuing authority.
The counselling fee is Rs. 700 in cash. Candidates selected for admission will also have to pay an on-the-spot token admission fee of Rs. 4,000. One-time shifting will be allowed during the counselling.
The tentative dates for the second phase of counselling are August 26 and 27, 2026. The schedule for the second counselling phase will be attached after the first counselling phase.
