Mew Delhi, November 22, 2025: The PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI), in collaboration with the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, is organizing a high-level Chintan Shivir (Deliberation Camp) on November 28, starting from 10:00 AM onwards at Geeta Sarovar Portico, G T Road, Panipat.
The event is themed "Panipat's Textile Industry's Technical Transformation: High Value, Better Tomorrow." This Shivir is designed to be highly beneficial for all stakeholders, including MSME units, owners, startups, decision-makers, labs, hotels, hospitals, recyclers, and institutes, who are keen to capitalize on the sector's growth.
Given its strong recycling base, Panipat is poised to become an important hub for the manufacturing and export of technical textiles, contributing significantly to the national economy and the Vision 2047 goal. The Ministry of Textiles, Government of India, will actively participate to show the government's strong commitment to assist and fund the entrepreneurs under various schemes of the National Technical Textiles Mission (NTTM), accelerating the cluster's shift towards high-value manufacturing. Senior government officials from both Central and State Governments will join the program to ensure policy alignment and drive the agenda.
The Chintan Shivir will deliberate upon several critical topics essential for sustainable growth, including Quality, Compliance, and Financing, alongside technical advancements in Recycling, GeoTech, HomeTech, Sportech, and Indutech. Furthermore, the event will officially launch and facilitate key initiatives: the technology developed under the NTTM framework will be transferred to startups and interested industry partners for technical textiles, fostering indigenous innovation. Crucially, the event will also witness the important launch of the National Flag Recycling Initiative, emphasizing circular economy principles. This Shivir aims to convert strategic discussions into actionable strategies, paving the way for Panipat’s leadership in advanced textile manufacturing.
