Chandigarh, March 2, 2016: Looking to bring together epicurean delights under one roof, Palate Fest is all set to introduce residents of Chandigarh to a culinary experience like never before. Scheduled from March 4 till March 6, The Palate Fest will take over the picturesque Leisure Valley, Sector 10, Chandigarh, run through an extravagant carnival of gourmet cuisine, filling the surroundings with appetizing aromas.
Taking the residents on a journey of gastronomical delights, this one-of-its-kind celebration of gourmet cuisine will see some of the country’s leading food brands setting up pop-up restaurants at the venue.

A brainchild of Ruchi Sibal and Aditi Kapoor, two food connoisseurs with an entrepreneurial spirit, The Palate Fest will offer something to suit everyone’s palate. “Palate Fest provides all the associated culinary brands a common platform for interaction, understanding, business generation and exchange of ideas. It is also an opportunity for city residents to treat themselves to a culinary experience rich & expansive in food & mood,” says Ruchi Sibal, Director, Palate Fest Pvt. Ltd, explaining what Palate Fest offers to its partners and to the guests visiting this first-of-its-kind international food festival.

Talking enthusiastically on bringing the Palate to Chandigarh, Aditi Kapoor, Director, Palate Fest Pvt. Ltd says, “Chandigarh is full of lovely people who are known for appreciating ‘all things good’ especially when it comes to food. An amalgamation of epicurean taste, wonderful weather, mesmerizing surroundings made Chandigarh a natural destination for Palate Fest. Speaking at the press conference, Ms. Kavita Singh, Managing Director, CITCO said, “We are delighted to give Palate Fest to City Beautiful, a park picnic as I would like to call it. With Palate, we hope to bring in the desired elements of food, music and leisure, all put together, which are close to the hearts of the people of Chandigarh. Also, with the food tourism growing in importance, we see the festival as an important element in promoting the food culture in the city.”

The Chandigarh Palate Fest will see the best brands from food & hospitality sector from across India, converging at Leisure Valley to give culinary enthusiasts the chance to indulge in a variety of delectable offerings and get an insight into the latest fine - dining trends. The likes of Organica, Fizzy Food Labs, Parvatiya Preserves, Keventers, Pickle Maker- Pickles by PC, Giani, Barista, Bonhomia, Kylin, Delhi Chutney Co., Fat Lulus, The Taj, The Lalit, Mountview and Boheme will ensure that there is something to suit everyone’s palate.

An interesting line-up of entertainment has been planned for the festival, which includes live music acts through the evening. Famous Artists namely Jatin on Acoustics, Jeevan Khanna, Gurnazar, Itehad, Arzz, Spaced Cadets, Ayaat, Strings & Wood, Sahil Sharma & Syndicate OR Rooh, Spaced Cadets and Swastik will be performing during the three day festival.
