Pakhowal road ROB/RUB project: MLA Gogi, MC Chief directs contractor to speed up work, complete project by August 15

Ludhiana, March 17, 2023: Ludhiana West MLA Gurpreet Bassi Gogi and Municipal Corporation (MC) Commissioner Dr Shena Aggarwal conducted an inspection at Pakhowal road ROB/RUB site on Friday and directed the contractor to expedite the work.

Detailed discussions were held with contractor Deepak Singal at the construction site and directions were issued to complete the project by August 15.

During the visit, the authorities also directed the contractor to depute more machinery and staff at the site to ensure timely completion. 

Dr Aggarwal stated that the contractor has been directed to speed up the work and submit progress reports with the department on a regular basis. 

MLA Gogi stated that the contractor has assured that the project will be completed by August 15.

The legislator further stated that the project is being monitored on a regular basis. For bringing a relief to the public, the contractor has been directed to speed up the work. 

MC officials including Superintending Engineer (SE) Sanjay Kanwar, Executive Engineer Balwinder Singh among others were also present during the inspection.
