Tarn Taran, October 30, 2025: The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) candidate from Tarn Taran, Harmeet Singh Sandhu, received an overwhelming public response during a Lok Milni (public meeting) held in village Chak Sikandar under the leadership of Sarpanch Sardar Sukharaj Singh and former Sarpanch Nishan Singh. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from the entire village, including men, women, and elders, who turned up in large numbers to express their faith and support for the AAP leader.
Addressing the gathering, Harmeet Singh Sandhu thanked the villagers for their affection, encouragement, and blessings. He said, “I am deeply grateful to the people of Chak Sikandar for their immense love and unwavering faith. I will remain indebted to them and will continue to raise my voice for the welfare of every section of society.”
Sandhu added that the unprecedented support from Tarn Taran’s people reflects their growing trust in the honest governance and pro-people policies of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann’s government. He said the Aam Aadmi Party has changed the definition of politics in Punjab by prioritizing service over power and development over empty promises.
He assured the villagers that under the leadership of CM Bhagwant Mann, every effort will be made to ensure holistic development of Tarn Taran, better infrastructure in rural areas, and improved livelihood opportunities for the youth.
Sandhu appealed to the people to strengthen AAP’s hands in the upcoming by-election, saying that together they can make Tarn Taran a model of progress and good governance.
