Orientation Programme 2026 to Welcome New Students at GJIMT
Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, Mohali, commenced its formal Orientation Programme 2026 to warmly welcome new students into the Gian Jyoti family. The programme began with a traditional prayer, followed by an introduction to the history, values and legacy of Gian Jyoti. Students were familiarised with the institution’s leadership, support systems and the opportunities available for their academic, professional and personal development.

Mohali, August 11, 2026: Gian Jyoti Institute of Management and Technology, Phase 2, Mohali, commenced its formal Orientation Programme 2026 to warmly welcome new students into the Gian Jyoti family. The programme began with a traditional prayer, followed by an introduction to the history, values and legacy of Gian Jyoti. Students were familiarised with the institution’s leadership, support systems and the opportunities available for their academic, professional and personal development.
Addressing the students, J.S. Bedi, Chairman, Gian Jyoti Group of Institutions, encouraged the new batch to make the most of their time at Gian Jyoti. He emphasised the importance of discipline, continuous learning, dedication and making meaningful use of the opportunities available to them.
As part of the orientation, sessions were organised on Artificial Intelligence and future-ready skills, the Gian Jyoti approach to learning, life beyond the classroom, student support systems, career development and placement opportunities. Students were also introduced to the campus career ecosystem and success stories of the institution’s alumni.
Sharing his thoughts on the occasion, Dr. Aneit Bedi, Director, Gian Jyoti, said that orientation marks the first step in a student’s journey with the institution. He said, “Our objective is to help every student recognise their strengths, embrace new opportunities and develop into confident, responsible and future-ready professionals.”
He added that more sessions and interactive discussions would continue under Orientation Programme 2026, aimed at helping students connect with campus life and begin their academic journey with confidence and clarity.
