Chandigarh, February 2, 2022: A meeting of workers and office bearers of Chandigarh Congress was held at Congress Bhawan, sector 35 here on Wednesday.
Among others Khiladi Lal Bairwa MLA Dholpur Rajasthan, Kamal Kant Sharma former Chairman APMC Government of Delhi, Rajesh Kaushik Secretary Delhi Pradesh Congress Committee and Subhash Chawla, President Chandigarh Congress were also present in the meeting
The meetings discussed the organizational election program of the Congress party and initiation of the party's membership drive in Chandigarh.
Khiladi Ram has been nominated as Pradesh Returning Officer for organizational election in Chandigarh by the AICC and Kamal Kant Sharma is the Assistant Pradesh Returning Officer.
Speaking on the occasion, Khiladi Lal exhorted the workers of Chandigarh to enroll new members for the Congress party till 31 March 2022.
Subhash Chawla stated that the membership enrollment drive and organizational elections of the Congress shall rejuvenate the party.
The workers and office bearers of Chandigarh Congress unanimously resolved to make the enrolment drive a roaring success.
