OPEN KABADDI Tournament on Feb 14-15

Ferozepur, February 13, 2013: Like previous years, this year also, the open Kabaddi Tournament and Shooting Ball Tournament will be organised by Gurudwara Jamni Sahib and Basant Panchmi Society, Baziadpur on  February 14-15.

This was disclosed by the member of the society Jathedar Darshan Singh Sherkhan, Satpal Singh Talwandi, Pritam Singh Malsian and Lavinder Singh Bhanda Landa.

In the tournament, besides Kabaddi of 55 kg and 35 kg, the volleyball shooting, dastarbandi and veteran race will also be organised.

The winning teams of 65 kg Kabaddi, would be honoured with Rs.25,000 and cup while the runner team will be given Rs.16,000.  Similarly, in 35 kg Kabaddi matches will honoured with Rs.4,500 and cup for the winner team and Rs.3,500 for the runner team.

In dastarbandi competition, the first, second and third winner will be paid Rs.1,100, Rs.700 and Rs.500, respectively.

The entry fee for Kabaddi is Rs.100 for 65 kg and Rs.50 for 55 kg and Rs.50 for 35 kg and Rs.100 for volleyball shooting.  There will be one entry from one village.  For any objection, the fee of Rs.200 will be charged and the decision of the committee will be final.  The entry of the teams will be closed at 11 AM.
