Ludhiana, January 21, 2026: The Offset Printers Association (OPA), a leading representative of India's printing and packaging industry since 1988, has announced its participation in the prestigious WEPACK/SinoFoldingCarton 2026 exhibition as a supporting association. The event will take place from April 15 to 17, 2026, at the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an), China.

OPA will maintain a dedicated booth to highlight the association's key activities, achievements, and contributions to the sector, while promoting global networking with international associations and industry leaders. During the executive meeting held on January 18, 2026, under the chairmanship of Mr. Parveen Aggarwal, President,  members finalized strategies and plans for a group visit, with a strong focus on motivating Indian entrepreneurs and professionals from the printing and packaging industry to participate in large numbers. This world-class event offers exceptional opportunities for business growth, technology adoption, and international partnerships.

Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra provided a detailed presentation on the exhibition's massive scale and strong value proposition. As part of the WEPACK mega expo series, it covers the complete packaging chain — including folding cartons, post-press equipment, consumables, and innovative technologies — across over 120,000 square meters, featuring more than 1,500 exhibitors and attracting over 100,000 professional visitors globally. Prof. Chopra emphasized the rapid growth of India's packaging sector, which ranks as the fifth-largest industry in the economy and is expanding at 22-25% annually, with the overall packaging market projected to reach significant milestones in the coming years amid rising e-commerce, sustainable solutions, and demand from FMCG and food processing sectors. "This exhibition is a prime platform for Indian printers to explore global innovations in digital printing, eco-friendly packaging, and supply chain advancements — essential for staying competitive in a fast-evolving market," Prof. Chopra stated.

OPA continues to serve as a vital platform for the industry with a commitment to education, skill development, and global outreach. The association warmly invites all stakeholders in printing and packaging to join the group delegation and capitalize on this international opportunity for collaboration and growth.
