OPA Salutes IPAMA’s New Power Team: India’s Print–Pack Revolution Begins Anew!

The Offset Printers Association (OPA) lit up New Delhi with a vibrant and heartfelt felicitation ceremony to honour the newly elected Governing Council of the Indian Printing, Packaging & Allied Machinery Manufacturers’ Association (IPAMA) for the term 2025–2027. The event brought together industry leaders, innovators, manufacturers, and printers under one roof, creating an atmosphere filled with hope, pride, and excitement for the future of India’s printing and packaging sector. This gathering was not just a celebration—it was a strong message of unity, cooperation, and commitment towards building a truly self-reliant, world-class industry.

The new IPAMA team was elected during the flawless election held on 20 November 2025 and formally approved by unanimous decision at the 138th Governing Council Meeting on 4 December 2025 at Hotel Crowne Plaza, Okhla. The newly formed council represents a powerful blend of experience, technical strength, and visionary leadership, all driven by a common goal: to make India a global hub for printing and packaging machinery by embracing advanced technology, sustainable practices, and major export opportunities.

Leading this energetic group is the re-elected President, Jaiveer Singh, a respected figure whose years of dedicated service have shaped IPAMA’s growing influence across the world. Supporting him are dynamic office-bearers who bring regional strength and national vision: K.S. Strengthening the core operations of the association are Iqbal Singh as General Secretary, along with Dinesh Raj (Joint Secretary, North), Ravinder Singh (Joint Secretary, West), Raj Kamal Bhullar (Joint Secretary, East), Surinder Singh (Joint Secretary, South), and Dharampal Rawat as Treasurer. Together, this team reflects the true diversity and vibrancy of the Indian print machinery ecosystem.

Adding tremendous momentum to IPAMA’s activities, Suresh Kumar has taken charge of PRINTPACK NORTHEAST. He will be working closely with a strong 23-member council that includes industry giants such as Rotta Print India Pvt. Ltd., Maan Machine Tools, Bobst India Pvt. Ltd., and many other leading manufacturers from across the country. Their collective vision is to expand India’s footprint in international markets, support domestic machine builders, encourage innovation in automation, and bring world-class exhibitions to every corner of India.

The highlight of the evening came when Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra, veteran printing expert and guiding force of OPA, delivered an inspiring address. He praised IPAMA’s continued dedication and congratulated President Jaiveer Singh for earning the trust of the industry once again. Prof. Chopra remarked that IPAMA’s growth over the years has illuminated the path for thousands of printers and manufacturers, and he expressed pride in the association’s achievements. His words affirmed OPA’s strong commitment to walking hand in hand with IPAMA, fostering deeper networking, fresh collaborations, and breakthrough initiatives that will push the Indian printing and packaging industry into a new age of global competitiveness.

Responding with heartfelt gratitude, Jaiveer Singh thanked OPA for its warm felicitation and reaffirmed his mission to strengthen India’s printing and packaging machinery sector. He emphasised that with OPA’s support and the industry’s collective determination, India can become a leader in designing, manufacturing, and exporting high-quality machinery. He highlighted IPAMA’s upcoming plans for promoting green technologies, improving machine efficiency, and supporting homegrown equipment to reduce imports. Jaiveer Singh expressed special appreciation for Prof. Kamal Mohan Chopra’s guidance, calling it a “North Star” that continues to inspire IPAMA’s journey.

The synergy between OPA and IPAMA is expected to bring transformative progress—encouraging “Make in India,” boosting job opportunities, enhancing skill development, and showcasing India’s capabilities to global markets through exhibitions, seminars, and new industry partnerships. Both organisations are determined to build a future where Indian machines, Indian expertise, and Indian innovation shine brightly on the world stage. OPA, a lifelong champion of printing excellence, reaffirms its commitment to supporting every printer, manufacturer, and entrepreneur in the industry.
