Online dance competition on International Dance Day at Innocent Hearts

Jalandhar: The Classical Dance - Kathak Dance competition was organized in five schools  of Innocent Hearts, Green Model Town, Loharan, Cantt.- Jandiala Road, Nurpur and Kapurthala Road on the occasion of International Dance Day. This competition was conducted online. Students of classes VII and VIII participated in this competition and performed very beautiful dance. The judges were HOD - Music Mrs. Kirandeep and Mrs. Richa Sharma. The result of the dance competition was as follows:

The first place was won by Kairabi and Aastha Sachdeva - Green Model Town and Garima - Kapurthala Road. Three of them performed the best dance. Second place was won by Sania Arora and Tript from Lohoran and Garima Bhatia from Green Model Town. Third place was obtained by Divyanshu Sood from Nurpur and Ekam Preet Kaur & Vrinda Gupta from Green Model Town. The consolation prize was received by Navya Bansal of Green Model Town.

On this occasion, the students who won the competition were congratulated by the Vice Principal and Cultural Head - Mrs. Sharmila Nakra and also informed them about the different forms of dance. Such activities along with online studies keep the children stress-free and play a significant role in their all-round development.
