Republic Day celebrations under the banner of Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation (FICO) being held at Ludhiana on January 26.
Ludhiana, January 27, 2014: Federation of Industrial & Commercial Organisation (FICO), Ludhiana Estate Manufacturers Association (LEMA),Bicycle Research & Development Organisation (BRADO), Laghoo Udyog Bharti (LUB), Janta Nagar Small Scale Manufacturers Association(JSSMA),Fastners Manufacturers Association(FMA),Ludhiana Bicycle & Engineering Park (LBPARK),Dhandari Industrial Welfare Association(DIWA), All India Agriculture Implements Manufacturers Association(AIAIMA) under the banner of FICO, on Sunday, celebrated 65th Republic Day at B-Block Industrial Estate Park Ludhiana.
K.K. Seth, Chairman & Gurmeet Singh Kular President FICO welcomed the Chief Guest Onkar Singh Pahwa, CMD-Avon Cycles Ltd & Guest of Honour Dr Baldeep Singh, MD, Deep Nursing Home & Children's Hospital along with all the participants.
The National Flag was hoisted on the occasion.
In their address, Onkar Singh Pahwa & Dr Baldeep Singh remembered the sacrifices made by freedom fighters during the freedom struggle.
FICO honored two industrialist with Award of Excellence to Vipin Mittal in Garment Industry by adding new technology trend for serving nation and society and Padam Aul for contribution toward innovation for Bicycle Components & Auto Components Industry.
