One more positive case found in Tarkhankhadd in Kangra: DC

Dharamshala: One more Corona positive case has been reported in Tarkhankhadd panchayat of Kangra sub-division on Sunday. Now, there are two positive cases in this panchayat in the same family. One positive case was reported in Chakwan Gheen Panchayat on Saturday.  These two panchayats have been declared as hot spot. Ward number two of Chakwan Gheen panchayat has been announced containment zone. Two other wards of this panchayat have been declared under buffer zone.  Earlier, a corona positive case was also reported from Jamanabad panchayat.
Deputy Commissioner Rakesh Prajapati told here on Sunday, “Tarkhankhadd and ward number 6 of Nerati panchayat under Shahpur sub-division were declared containment zones while Salol and Tatwani panchayats and other wards of Nerati panchayat were declared buffer zones last evening.  No relaxation in curfew will be given at these places. There will be complete restriction on the movement of common men but movement will be allowed with permits under medical emergency and essential duty categories. Thermal screening will be ensured by health authorities at entry and exit points. Supply of essential items will be made through home delivery in these areas.”
He said  that 62 samples were tested negative on Sunday. Social distancing is being maintained during lockdown and people are being awakened. Helpline numbers are being issued from time to time so that people don’t face any difficulty. All should follow guidelines being issued by health authorities.  No one should come out of home unnecessarily. Samples of those persons will also be collected for testing who came in contact with Corona positive persons so that infection is contained. Two positive cases were also reported from Bilaspur, In all Himachal Pradesh reported three fresh cases of COVID-19, taking the total virus count in the state to 56, officials said on Sunday.
