Ferozepur, February 3, 2014: A person was hit by a Honda city car at Ferozepur-Fazilka road, near village Pindi during the wee hours. The collision proved fatal for the victim and he was fallen prey on the spot.
As per the available information, Gurmeet Singh, a resident of village Kakkar (Mamdot) was going to attend a marriage along with his family at nearby Jalalabad. While driving, he observed the nature call and stopped his car near village Pindi. Suddenly he was struck by a Honda city car. The collision proved fatal for him and he died on the spot.
Consequently, the car also lost its balance and hit a tree along the roadside. The driver Sanjeev Kumar, resident of village Moti Wala, Guru Har Sahai, also sustained minor injuries.
