Ludhiana, May 17, 2025: The UIDAI RO, Chandigarh in collaboration with Training and Testing Division of UIDAI HQ & Registrar FCS Punjab, organized a One Day State Level Mega Training for Aadhaar operators and supervisors at Punjab Agriculture University Ludhiana. The event was inaugurated by S.K Kothari, Director, UIDAI, Chandigarh.
Approximately 130 participants from various departments of Punjab such as, Punjab Sewa Kendra, School Education, Women & Child Development & Department of Post attended the training, which covered various issues related to the Aadhaar ecosystem, rules, and procedures. The training aimed at enabling Aadhaar operators to perform their duties efficiently and provide better services to the residents of the UT.
The Director, UIDAI, emphasized the need for strict compliance with regulations and latest directions to minimize the possibility of errors by the operators. He also emphasized on document update by the residents who have not updated their Aadhaar in past 10 years. Operators were also trained on revised penalty structure keeping in view of the previous errors & were advised to complete the enrolments carefully, UIDAI’s vision and mission to ensure high level of work ethics.
Promptly responding to the queries of the participants, Ankush Thakur Assistant Manager of UIDAI Chandigarh ensured participants gain a thorough understanding of the enrolment ecosystem. He also presented the new module of enrolment and update of Aadhaar to the participants
UIDAI conducts such training sessions at regular intervals to foster professionalism and excellence among ecosystem partners and further strengthening Aadhaar framework. The session provided a comprehensive overview of Aadhaar principles and ecosystem.
