Bangalore, November 6, 2017: In a major development, ONE Co.Work, one of the leading co-working spaces in India, has marked its foray into the Silicon Valley of India with the inauguration of a brand new co-working centre in Bengaluru. The 22000 sq feet facility is the largest ONE Co.Work centre till date and can house up to 257 entrepreneurs and working professionals on the second floor. A seating of 200 with “tailor-made” facility is also build on the first floor. Located in the well-connected locale of Koramangala, the centre provides several ultramodern features such as sleeping pods, gaming lounges, along with essential concierge services.

The formal launch event took place on November 4, 2017, post an exclusive pre-launch party featuring prominent VCs, angel investors, funded start-ups, and other ecosystem enablers on November 3. Several leading industry players were present at the launch event, including SAIF Partners, Qualcomm Ventures,Bessemer Venture Partners, IDG Ventures, A.R. Jayakumar (CEO, Karnataka Asset Management Company), and Manish Singhal (Founding Partner, Pi Ventures), amongst others.

The program took off after the ribbon-cutting ceremony with a VC panel discussion around the best investment ideas for the next decade, which was followed by a brief founder panel session on ‘The Rise of Sharing Economy and why it will work in India’. Another panel discussion revolving around The Rise of
“Sharing Economy and why will it work in India” were initiated by Jitendera Jagdev, Netsway, Kamra Bhutia, iShippo.com, Vipul Singh, Aarav Unmanned Systems to name few. The event concluded with a series of angel investment rounds and networking sessions intended for start-ups on-boarded by ONE Co.Work.

Speaking on the launch of the Bangalore facility, Himanshu Bindal, Founder of ONE Co.Work, said, “The Bengaluru launch is very special for ONE Co.Work for many reasons. The Bengaluru launch is a part of ONE Co.Work’s ongoing expansion spree that aims to extend its superior co-working services to 9 major locations, including Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Noida, by the end of the year. ONE Co.Work is also targeting deeper penetration in the geographies it is currently operational in, and aims to venture into 20 promising markets by 2018.
