Nawanshahr, January 27, 2022: On the second day of filling nominations for assembly elections, one candidate on Thursday filed his nomination from Balachaur Assembly segment.
Divulging the details, Deputy Commissioner-cum-District Election Officer Vishesh Sarangal said that candidate including Ashok Bath from Bharatiya Janta Party today filed his nomination papers in Balachaur.
Sarangal further notification for the election in this regard was issued on January 25 and last date for filing nominations is February 1. He said that no nomination would be taken on January 30.
He said that scrutiny of nominations would be held on February 2 and last date for withdrawal is February 4.
