One booked for attempting to cast forged vote

Ferozepur, May 1, 2014: Sadar Police Station, Ferozepur have lodged a case against Roshan for casting forged vote at Village Peer Ahmed Khan.
Yadwinder Singh, SHO, Sadar Police Station, Ferozepur said, Deepak Kumar, who was performing his duty as Presiding Officer in the booth, noticed that his voter I-card was not matching. He was restrained from casting vote following an objection raised by the Poll Agent.
He was immediately apprehended by the security staff and later an official complaint was lodged under section 171 F, following the statements made by Deepak Kumar, PO.
