On World Heritage Day: Need to conserve Doraha Fort in best possible way 

Doraha Fort, near Ludhiana seems to be the only left out most old/heritage building in Ludhiana.
Team Indian Institute of Architects Ludhiana Centre and Punjab Chapter is of the opinion that state government/district administration/tourism department must conserve this fort in best possible way and it must be converted to major tourist destination in Ludhiana. 
After professional landscaping this fort can be put to use in multi-ways. 
Being on National Highway as well as on banks of Doraha canal this fort - a Heritage building can be an exemplary architectural place to visit and enjoy.
Team IIA is always fully ready to cooperate and design any project for the betterment in Ludhiana, Punjab.
