On Day-1 of allotment, PhD students returned to PU Hostels

Chandigarh: Panjab University, Chandigarh today allotted rooms to around 20 Ph.D students against single occupancy at present on the first day of hostel allotment. Also, exit semester students of Nuclear Medicine, Medical Physics, MDS and M.Pharma are allowed to stay in hostels, informed Dr. Sukhbir Kaur, Dean Student Welfare(Women), PU. 

She further informed that the students who are having their departments in Sector -14 Campus, are allotted the hostels in Sector-14, while those in Sector-25 Campus, are allotted in South Campus. At present, the mess of Girls Hostel No. 4 is working which is catering to the Sector-14 Campus Girls Hostels and Girls Hostel no. 10 which is open is catering to the Hostels in South Campus.

The mess of Boys Hostel No. 6 is catering to all the Boys Hostels in PU Campus. All SoPs related to Covid will be strictly followed.
