Officers of College of Defence Management visited DMCH

new levels of standards being adopted by DMCH for getting NABH accreditation

Ludhiana, December 15, 2017: Officers from College of Defence Management based in Secunderabad District of Telangana state yesterday visited DMCH to know about the functioning of hospital, successful implementation of Hospital Information System(HIS) in DMCH and new levels of standards being adopted by DMCH for getting NABH accreditation.

A group of officers led by Brig HS Sarna were given a warm welcome by Principal Dr Sandeep Puri. In his address, Dr Puri said that it is a privilege for DMCH to host the gathering of officers from College of Defence Management,which is a premier institution in the country imparting management training to officers of Defence Services.

Dr H S Dhooria, Associate Professor of Medicine, gave a brief lecture to a group of visitors about HIS system being running in the hospital. Hospital Information System (HIS) is a comprehensive, integrated information system designed to manage all the aspects of a hospital's operation, informed Dr Dhooria

Dr Renu Moti Pandita, In-charge Quality Control Cell of DMCH gave a brief presentation about NABH guidelines being followed in the institution.

The visitors were also taken for a round of key areas of the hospital including ICU Block, Emergency Area, Hero DMC Heart Institute and DMCH Cancer Care Centre.
