Office bearers of CTU Workers Union met BJP President Sood

Chandigarh. A delegation of CTU Workers Union met Arun Sood, State President of Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday. During the meeting , the delegation has demanded a ban on giving CTU's HVAC buses in private hands. Union officials said that in 2016, with the efforts of MP Kirron Kher, CTU had approved the purchase of 200 new buses. Many buses had been damaged in CTU, so a plan was made to bring new buses in their place. The budget also came from the central government for the purchase of these buses. These buses are to be run on the long route. Out of these, 119 buses have also been purchased while the tender for the purchase of 40 buses has been done. But now CTU is going to give 20 buses out of the new buses to the private contractor. If this happens then the employees as well as the CTU will suffer a lot. Therefore, union has demanded that this process be stopped immediately. BJP state president Sood assured union  that he would place this demand in front of the higher officials of the administration and transport department and try to get their problem resolved.
