Off-screen camaraderie, on-screen conflict: Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible cast reflects on Karuna Pandey and Muskan Bamne’s dynamic
Sony SAB’s Pushpa Impossible resonates with audiences through its heartfelt, emotionally rich storytelling and layered character dynamics. While the show highlights strong relationships and evolving equations, one of the most gripping tracks is the intense face-off between Pushpa (Karuna Pandey) and Shanaya (Muskan Bamne). Their on-screen rivalry is sharp, emotional, and often confrontational, but what makes it even more special is the complete contrast it shares with their off-screen bond.
Behind the scenes, Karuna Pandey and Muskan Bamne share a warm, effortless camaraderie built on mutual respect and comfort. Their strong off-screen connection translates into a deeper understanding of each other as performers, allowing them to bring authenticity and intensity to their scenes.
Sharing insights about this dynamic, their co-actors highlight how seamlessly the two switch between warmth and intensity.
Samridh Bawa, playing the role of Ashwin, shares, “It’s honestly fascinating to watch Karuna ma’am and Muskan switch from being so warm and friendly off-screen to completely owning that tension on-screen. Right before a scene, they’re laughing and chatting, and the moment the camera rolls, the shift is instant. I remember during one of the intense sequences, we were all joking in between takes, and seconds later they delivered such a powerful scene, it really shows their command as actors.”
Akshhaya Hindallkar, playing the role of Rashi, shares, “Off screen, there’s so much ease and positivity between them. Karuna ma’am is always very encouraging, and Muskan shares a very natural bond with her. I’ve seen Karuna ma’am often guiding her or discussing scenes with her in a very calm way before the take. But on screen, that same equation turns into something so intense and layered, which makes their dynamic even more interesting to watch.”
Nitin Babu, playing the role of Chirag, shares, “The contrast between their off-screen and on-screen equation is what makes their scenes stand out. There’s a lot of mutual respect between them, and you can see that they trust each other as actors. Even during long shooting hours or back-to-back emotional scenes, they stay very focused and supportive of each other, that’s why even the most heated scenes never feel forced, they come across as very organic and powerful.”
