OBSERVANCE OF VIGILANCE AWARENESS WEEK

Ludhiana, November 1, 2017: As part of the nation-wide observance of Vigilance Awareness Week, our company (one of the largest non-life insurance companies, owned by the Govt. of India, Ministry of Finance) is also observing the same in all its offices from 30.10.2017 to 04.11.2017. The theme for the week is “My Vision – Corruption Free India.”

It commenced with the administering of Integrity Pledge by Sh. Angrup Sonam, Chief Regional Manager, Regional Office Ludhiana, to all our employees and officers.The messages sent by the Hon'ble President of India and Central Vigilance Commission were also read on the occasion by Sh. O.P. Bibian, Regional Manager,Sh. Hans Raj Sharma, Regional Manager and Manager Neeraj Sekhri & Depty Manager Usha Grover. It was resolved by all officer and employees that they shall work honestly and with full dedication for ensuring complete integrity and transparency in the areas of our core activities coupled with upright and fair public dealings. It was also resolved that all employees and officers shall work collectively and unstintingly for the eradication of corruption from all spheres of public life.

It was followed by Vigilance Awareness Rally organized by all the officers and employees of United India insurance Co., RO Ludhiana under the supervision of Sh. Angrup Sonam, Chief Regional Manager, which passed through Ferozepur Road, Bhai Wala Chowk, Pakhowal Road and Nehru Sidhant Kendra and culminated at Regional Office.

The programme was coordinated and conducted by Sh. Sanjeev Kumar, AO and Vigilance Officer of the Region.
