The annual conference of the North-West Chapter of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (NWIAPM-2026) will be held on April 5, 2026, at PGIMS, Rohtak. The theme of the conference is “Current insights in Pathology.”

Rohtak, April 3, 2026: The annual conference of the North-West Chapter of the Indian Association of Pathologists and Microbiologists (NWIAPM-2026) will be held on April 5, 2026, at PGIMS, Rohtak. The theme of the conference is “Current insights in Pathology.”

The conference aims to provide a platform for discussing recent advances in pathology, including emerging research, technological innovations, and evolving medical practices. The event will bring together pathologists, clinicians, researchers, and postgraduate students from across the country. A series of expert lectures and scientific sessions will be conducted as part of the program.

The event is being organized by the Department of Pathology, PGIMS Rohtak, in collaboration with the Regional Society of Pathologists- IAPM (Haryana Chapter).

The Chief Patron of the conference is the Vice-Chancellor of Pt. BDS University of Health Sciences, Dr. H.K. Aggarwal. Other patrons include Director Dr. S.K. Singhal, Registrar Dr. Roop Singh, Dean Academic Affairs Dr. M.G. Vashisht, Dean Dr. Ashok Kumar Chauhan, and Medical Superintendent Dr. Kundan Mittal. The conference will be formally inaugurated by the Vice-Chancellor.

The venue for the conference is Sushrut Auditorium of PGIMS. Participants will be awarded 5 HMC credit hours for attending the event. The conference is expected to significantly contribute to knowledge exchange and scientific dialogue among medical professionals.

Renowned speakers from premier institutions such as All India Institute of Medical Sciences Delhi, PGIMER Chandigarh, and Tata Memorial Hospital, Mumbai will deliver their lectures. More than 430 delegates from 10 states have registered for the conference. Additionally, 130 oral and poster presentations will be made by faculty members and residents. The Lifetime Achievement Award will also be presented to a distinguished pathologist.

Organizing Chairperson, Dr. Sunita Singh said that this annual conference provides an excellent platform to share the latest scientific advancements and emerging technologies in pathology. Organizing Secretary Dr. Sanjay Kumar said that the conference has received enthusiastic response from experts, faculty members, and residents across the country.
