Nutritional support provided to 100 patients under Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan
On the directions of the district administration and health department, Ann Jal Sewa Trust, which has been consistently engaged in commendable social service activities, organized a ration distribution program for TB patients at Civil Hospital, Ludhiana under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Nikshay Mitra Yojana.

Ludhiana, March 30, 2026: On the directions of the district administration and health department, Ann Jal Sewa Trust, which has been consistently engaged in commendable social service activities, organized a ration distribution program for TB patients at Civil Hospital, Ludhiana under the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan and Nikshay Mitra Yojana.
The program was conducted under the supervision and in accordance with the directions of the District Administration. On this occasion, under the guidance of Civil Surgeon Dr. Ramandeep Kaur and District TB Officer Dr. Ashish Chawla, approximately 100 TB patients were provided with nutritious ration. The primary objective of this initiative is to ensure adequate nutrition for TB patients and support their speedy recovery.
It is noteworthy that Ann Jal Sewa Trust has been continuously distributing ration to TB patients in Ludhiana for the past four years. Additionally, the Trust provides free, hygienic, and nutritious meals daily to patients admitted in Civil Hospital, as well as to the elderly and underprivileged individuals. The Trust is also actively contributing to environmental protection, assistance to needy students, and other public welfare activities.
During the program, a commitment was made to provide monthly ration to 100 TB patients and to continue this service in the future.
On this occasion, the Trust’s President Usha, Rishi Saroye, District Development Fellow Joseph Jais, Governance Associate Aditya, Rajiv Saroye, Harleen Kaur, Harjeet Singh Nanda, Gagandeep Singh, Indermohan Singh (Greenstar Entertainment), Pawan Kumar, Manga Ji, along with other dignitaries, were present.
Additionally, Pawan Kumar (Senior Treatment Supervisor, Sahnewal) and Amarinder Singh (District TB Clinic) were also present and sensitized patients about the importance of nutrition along with medication.
