Nurses week celebrated at RGI to respect the contributions of nurses towards people’s health

Mohali: Rattan Group of Institutions to honour and respect the nurses for their incredible and selfless dedication towards patient care celebrated Nurses Week. The day is held coinciding with the birth anniversary of Florence Nightingale. Due to Covid, this year Rattan group celebrated this event as a noble cause. Management held two Days Covid Vaccination camp at Sohana Village. Moreover, in this week nursing students of the college doing duties in Covid ward of govt. hospitals and private hospitals, where they are providing care to them with lots of nursing skills.

On International Nurses day the pledge was taken by the students to serve the community in this Covid crisis. students also took an oath to do every shift of the day to serve their best to  Covid patients.

Chairman RGI Sunder Lal Aggarwal said that nurses had a significant role in society and the profession of nursing was the noblest of all as it was entirely serving humanity. Cake cutting ceremony was also done in the college campus itself and students were also served with refreshment.
