NSS Volunteers visit IHM; learn about self-employment and start-up opportunities
A group of 70 NSS volunteers from the Jat College, Rohtak visited the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Tilyar on an educational tour today. The students visited various departments and learned about practical aspects of hotel management.

Rohtak, March 11, 2026: A group of 70 NSS volunteers from the Jat College, Rohtak visited the Institute of Hotel Management (IHM), Tilyar on an educational tour today. The students visited various departments and learned about practical aspects of hotel management.
IHM lecturer Vikas Deshwal said that during a special session on entrepreneurship, Ranjay Singh (Manager, MSME) provided detailed information to the students about entrepreneurial opportunities, self-employment, and start-up possibilities.
IHM Principal Shambhu Nath Gautam and Dr. Shweta Kumar shared their experiences with the students and informed them about the immense career opportunities in the hotel industry.
IHM Lecturer Vikas Deshwal, Chef Rajaram, and Meenakshi Nandal briefed the students on the functioning of the IHM's various departments, laboratories, and training units. Apart from IHM staff members, Dr. Jasmer Singh, Dr. Vivek Dangi, Dr. Sheeshpal, Dr. Sanjeet and Dr. Monica Dahiya from Jat College were present on the occasion.
