NSS volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College take first aid training

Jalandhar, December 21, 2021: NSS volunteers of Lyallpur Khalsa College took first aid training under SERV scheme at Red Cross Bhawan, Jalandhar. Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra appreciated the thought process of volunteers to undergo this very beneficial training. He added that timely first aid can save many lives. He said that Lyallpur Khalsa College is committed to provide these platforms to its students for their overall growth. Chief Program Officer Prof. Satpal Singh informed that 45 volunteers took this training which will not only be beneficial for them or their family but also to society as these volunteers are committed to social welfare. State Awardee First Aid Trainer Som Nath was the resource person in this training. Minhas, Secretary Red Cross, coordinated the training session smoothly. The certificates, to be awarded to volunteers, will be endorsed by Red Cross State Branch Chandigarh.
