Jalandhar, August 25, 2022: NSS units of Lyallpur Khalsa College, Jalandhar organised a free vaccination camp in college campus in collaboration with Civil Surgeon Office, Jalandhar and TCI foundation.
Principal Dr. Gurpinder Singh Samra, in his message, said that as the COVID cases are surging again, we as responsible citizens need to boost our immunity and actively take these doses.
Prof. Jasreen Kaur Dean Academic Affairs thanked the TCI team and appreciated the efforts of NSS unit for their community service spirit. Chief Program Officer, NSS Prof. Satpal Singh informed that First & second dose of Covishield, Covaxin and precautionary doses were injected to the 18 years and above age. He added that 106 students, staff and locals got vaccinated.
During this event, Prof. Narveer Singh HoD Physics and PO Dr. Navneet Arora were present. TCI team Dr. Agam Sharma, Gurjeet Kaur, Amarjeet Singh, Surinder Kumar and NSS Volunteers Lovepreet Kaur, Disha Vij, Karandeep Singh, Nitin Walia and Maninderjit Singh played active role in this camp.
